The People & Culture Administrator role is an integral member of the People & Culture Team, providing high level administrative support. The role is responsible for maintaining systems with a high degree of accuracy, and for drafting and issuing employment contracts.

Reporting to the Licensing & Onboarding Team Leader, this role is responsible for:

  • Maintain systems with a high degree of accuracy, including (but not limited to): new starters, exiting employees, secondments and higher duties
  • Accurately draft and execute employee contracts
  • Alert line managers of fixed term contract expiries to gain instructions
  • Analyse patterns of casual work to determine eligibility for permanent employment
  • Where required assist in the employee onboarding process
  • Provide leave coverage to team members as required
  • Manage the volunteer licensing portfolio
  • Contribute to process efficiencies and continuous development

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in a similar administrative role desirable but not required
  • The ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Good general IT skills, and a high level of computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word

Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful:

  • Valid Queensland driver's license, and own reliable transport
  • QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
  • Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
  • National Criminal History Check (a new check will be conducted through IFYS systems)
